        James Douglas Morrison Clarke was born in Melboume in 1943. He was one poet , composer and singer. He belonged to the psychedelic rock group "THE DOORS" .His parents were Clara Clarke and George Stephen Morrison.He had two brothers.

         On  1957 started the secondary..He read authors as well as  Kerouac, Rimbaut and Ginsberg. He moved to Los Angeles in 1964were he meet to to Ray Manzareck and they formed one grup of name "THE DOORS" in  1965.

          on 1967 they recorded their first disc.He was addicted to drugs like LSD , marihuana and the peyote. in 1971 at the risk of being senteced to prison he decided to give up the music and he  moved to Paris where he devoted himsef to his greatest passion the poetry.and in july 3 Jim was found dead in Paris where he lived with his partner and lover Pamela Courson.
